And yet, as Mizutsu said it, "We are the universe." Because our world is all we know. Who are we, when are we, where are we, why are we here? The grand scope of the music reminds me of the vastness of the universe and makes me realize how insignificant we really are. Which I can relate to, seeing as that's how I feel all the time these days.Įxogenesis: Exogenesis is humbling. Map of Your Head: A simple song that reminds me of just having fun and being young and lost. Stockholm Syndrome: My feel good song for every occasion. I guess a lot of Muse songs make me feel like this, but there's something about Blackout that makes it. and it was oddly appropriate, and yet somehow comforting.īlackout: I'm not sure why, but the feeling I get from this one is just incredible, really makes me want to go out and just live my life and do things with the time I have. Shine (Acoustic): I was listening to this when I found out my grandpa died. This is the end of the world as I had known it. The perfect introduction to the grand adventure over the rest of my life. Apocalypse Please: My introduction to Muse, and made me feel like no song before it ever had.
